Over the last 4 years, I have been helping investors in learning about money matters, and have interacted with many investors on their money matters. I have seen enough of how investors create a mess in their financial lives.
I have seen investors getting into the rat race after their college and then start the never-ending race to earn more, buying properties, buying cars, various investment policies, and whatnot.
They want to create more and more wealth so that they can be happy in the future. However, that future never comes. A lot of people have a decent amount of money in the end, but they burn out in their life.
They often have money to buy holiday packages, but don’t have the health or friends without which, those holiday packages become meaningless.
They often reach their 50’s, only to realize that they have created a messy portfolio and not generated the best returns they could have made simply for the fact, that they wanted to do everything on their own and refrained from asking for advice from the experts.
There is no planning, no focus, and no conscious thinking in their actions and they create a financial life that a more of a result of a series of random decisions and not careful planning.
This happens mostly because they lack a mentor or someone who can correct them or give them a different view on their plan of action. As an affluent investor, you have got a great opportunity to create wealth compared to a normal middle-class investor.
