The first rule of investing or trading is to avoid ruin (aka the big loss). At all costs.
Why i say this let’s give you actual example: If you start with Rs 100, then a 50% gain will take you to Rs 150. But you only need a 33% loss to take you back to Rs 100.5, a minor gain .5%
This loss will hurt you more than 50% gain.
